      I used Line 6 DOOM Metallurgy preset 'Off to See the Wizard'. It's an excellent sounding set of amps and the presets are actually very good.

    random but I fee like ever since i put on locking tuners, my strat doesn't like getting dropped down but I might of cut the strings too close to the knobs

      You physically pulled the string too tight before locking it off. It’s now unable to tune below that point.

      I use the polycapo feature from Line 6 and Neural DSP to detune. Tracks very well and saves the hassle of string changes.

    I like the foreboding sound of Locrian, always have. It fits perfectly with the “doomy” sound and doesn’t require high speed shredding…nothing wrong with being able to do that, BTW. I’ve got carpal tunnel in both hands. Slow = Less Pain!

    I don't get why people get upset about AI art. The way I see it AI generated images use inspiration from previous material just like human artists often do. Besides, copyright shouldn't be seen as something sacred to never be broken imo. Either way, great lesson.

    At 9:32 the tempo at top left was already reading 90.414 before and after you imported the tracks. Lost with all this, new to Reaper only in the last week and just successfully created a Tempo Map in a project and just want to export only that to load into a new project. There must be and easier way using the power of Reaper ???.

      All I'm doing is setting up a marking for each part or track so that when it's imported by another person to mix everything falls into place.

      @@CoreyHunter Okay, here's the detailed version: Generative AI art is built on a collection of stolen imagery, to the point where it even recognizes specific artist names and can emulate their style if asked. For fellow creatives especially, this should be troubling. That's not even covering the massive energy use this technology requires, which translates directly to increased fossil fuel use to keep up with demand. It's stolen art that's killing the planet. If you don't care about one of these things, at least care about the other. If you care about none of it, it also looks like crap and we can all tell it was made by AI. It's lazy and a sign you don't care about your craft. Passively standing by and encouraging the kind of bullshit that Mr. Chernobyl up there was throwing directly from his own ass tube is an even worse look than using the Lazy Button. Was that constructive?

    Any tips on how to get a better tone? Line 6 Doom preset in what software? Your tone in this video is pretty alright but could be better imo. I have the same problem that i would like to do hard rock guitar but dont really have a good place to crank an amp all the time.
